This page is a tribute to the greatest rapper of all-time, 2 Pac. 2 Pac is the greatest rapper of all-time, and nobody will ever come close. F**k Biggie, and f**k Puffy. It's all about 2 Pac.

On this page I will have some info about 2 Pac and some info over his albums, gang life, and pretty much everything else that I can think of.
Be patient though, It will take a little bit for me to get all the material up.

2 Pacs Biography:
During his short life, Tupac Amaru Shakur (a.k.a. 2Pac) became a living symbol of his generation's frustration and rage. As a rapper, his songs often detailed the misery, desperation, and violence of ghetto life. As a personality, he easily embodied the false bravado and urban nonchalance that reflected a tough, unforgiving upbringing. As an actor, he was good-looking and charismatic, and his appearances in five feature films suggested he had great potential on the big screen in a variety of personas. But Shakur never had time to realize any of these embodiments. On September 7, 1996, he was gunned down in a drive-by shooting on a neon-lit gambling strip in downtown Las Vegas. He died six days later as a result of those wounds. He was twenty-five. The case is still unsolved.

The son of political activists Afeni Shakur and Billy Garland, Tupac Shakur grew up a troubled and precocious child. His home life was unstable, and he ended up moving from one inner-city community to another. Because of that instability, Shakur sought to assert himself through gangs. By the time he was twenty, Shakur had been arrested eight times, even serving eight months in prison after being convicted of sexual abuse. In addition, he was the subject of two wrongful-death lawsuits, one involving a six-year-old boy who was killed after getting caught in gang-war crossfire between Shakur's gang and a rival group.

In the late eighties, Shakur teamed up with Humpty-Hump (a.k.a. Eddie Humphrey, a.k.a. Gregory "Shock-G" Jacobs) and other Oakland-based rappers to create Digital Underground, a band intent on massive bass beats and frenetic, Parliament-Funkadelic-style rhythms. In 1990, the group released its debut and best album, Sex Packets, a pulsating testament to the boogie power of hip-hop, featuring two classic tracks, "Humpty Dance" and "Doowutchyalike." After an EP of re-mixes in 1991, D.U. released Sons of the P and, the following year, The Body-Hat Syndrome, all on Tommy Boy Records.

In 1992, Shakur entered a most fruitful five-year period. He broke free of D.U. and made his solo debut, 2Pacalypse Now, a gangsta rap document that put him in the notorious, high-speed lane to stardom. That same year he starred in Juice, an acclaimed low-budget film about gangs which saw some Hollywood success. In 1993, he recorded and released Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z., an album that found Shakur crossing over to the pop charts. Unfortunately, he also found himself on police blotters, when allegations of a violent attack on an off-duty police officer and sexual misconduct arose. The same year, Shakur played a single father and Janet Jackson's love interest in the John Singleton film Poetic Justice.

In November of 1994, he was shot five times during a robbery in which thieves made off with $40,000 worth of his jewelry. Shakur miraculously recovered from his injuries to produce his most impressive artistic accomplishments, including 1995's Me Against the World, which sold two million copies, and the double-CD All Eyez on Me, which sold nearly three million. As his career arc began a steep rise toward fame and fortune, Shakur was shot (most say suspiciously) and killed after watching a Mike Tyson fight with Death Row Records president Marion "Suge" Knight. Though his death was a jolt to his fans and the music community, Shakur himself often said that he expected he'd die by the sword before he reached thirty.

Following his passing, Shakur's label released an album, The Don Killuminati, under the pseudonym "Makaveli." The cover depicted Shakur nailed to a cross under a crown of thorns, with a map of the country's major gang areas superimposed on it. In January of 1997, Gramercy Pictures released Gridlock'd, a film in which Shakur played the role of a drug addict to mostly good reviews. His final film, Gang Related, is due to be released in 1997, and Death Row is said to have several unreleased recordings in the vaults for potential future release.

2 Pac has many poems. Below are a few, with the exception of one, which was written by the biggest 2 Pac follower alive. I will keep his name unknown, and this page will be dedicated to him. He's a true friend, and a true 2 Pac follower. You know who you are, one of the only people I have respect for. This shit's for you and 2 Pac. Cuz you'll both live on forever like a true Thug, or in your case, a Lunatic!

Tears running down his mothers face, but now he's in a better place.
Another mother that has lost her son, but no one chooses to go by a gun.
As we look down into his darkened grave, I remember that I must be brave.
I pull myself together and try not to cry, god why is it now his turn to die.
Forgive him for the stress he's caused, and at moments should've had his life on pause.
Please forgive us for the things we did, you have to understand he's just a kid.
Some day it will be my turn to die, but I pray that my mother will not have to cry.
Tell him I'll look out for both his brothers, and I'll try best to care for his mother.
Hope he's happy up there with you in heaven, and knows we think of him 24/7.
We think about you homie still, and if it's dead I gotta be I will.
Remember this my gone brotha, god is the only one with a right to judge us.

2 Pacs Poetry:

Liberty Needs Glasses

Excuse me but lady liberty needs glasses
And so does Mrs Justice by her side
Both the broads R blind as bats
Stumbling Thru the system
Justice Bumbed into mutulu and
Trippin' on Geronimo Pratt
But stepped right over Oliver
And his crooked partner Ronnie
Justice stubbed her big toe the invians
Slavery was a learning phase
Forgotten with out a verdict
While Justice is on a rampage
4 endangered Survining Black males
I mean really if anyone really valued life
And cared about the masses
They's take'em both 2 pen optical
And get 2 pair of Glasses

I Cry

Sometimes when I'm alone I Cry,
Cause I am on my own.
The tears I cry are bitter and warm.
They flow with life but take no form
I Cry because my heart is torn.
I find it difficult to carry on.
If I had an ear to confiding,
I would cry among my treasured friend,
but who do you know that stops that long,
to help another carry on.
The world moves fast and it would rather pass by.
Then to stop and see what makes one cry,
so painful and sad.
And sometimes...
I Cry
and no one cares about why.

Theories on 2 Pac's Death:

After leaving the Mike Tyson fight at the MGM Grand on Saturday September 7, 1996, Tupac was alledgedly shot 5 times. He lived through the shooting, and was taken to a nearby hospital. He was pronounced dead on Friday September 13, 1996.

Friday the 13th is a very suspicious day. This would make people think there was a conspiracy and there would be huge sales of Tupac's stuff, making more money for Death Row - it doesn't really mean that Tupac is still alive.

There were never any pictures released of Tupac in the hospital. The hospital was forbidden to release any by Afeni Shakur, Tupac's mother.

In the song "Life Goes On", Tupac raps about his own funeral. Tupac rapped a lot about dying, even when he first started out as a rapper, so this was common and doesn't mean anything.

The video "I ain't Mad at Cha" was released only a few days after his death. The video shows Tupac as an angel in heaven. In the video, Tupac was shot after leaving a theater with Suge Knight. This makes it seem like Tupac knew he was going to be shot.

If Suge Knight had Tupac set up, he could have told Tupac to shoot a video like this, as he was his producer.

Tupac dies in his last video released under the name "Tupac". His video "Toss It Up" from the new album Makaveli was released under that name. This could just be coincidence, or to show that one album was over and the new one had started.

In interviews prior to the shooting, Tupac talked about how he wanted to stop rapping and being a gangsta and get out of the limelight. If the public thought that he was dead, he would be out of it. This doesn't mean that he faked his death - a lot of people always come up with that idea whenever anyone famous dies, like Elvis or Princess Diana.

There are no suspects for the shooting. This could just be because the Police haven't done their job too well.

The Press wasn't going to be allowed at Tupac's funeral, but it was cancelled for unknown reasons. The funeral was cancelled by Afeni because she wanted a cremation for Tupac so he could rest in peace - she didn't want to involve the media.

Tupac always wore a bulletproof vest, no matter where he went. Why didn't he wear it to a very public event like the Tyson fight? The surveilance camera at the MGM Grand picked up Suge Knight saying "Yo Pac take off your vest, it's hotter than a motha fucka in here."

In most of his songs Tupac talks about being buried when he dies, so why was he allegedly cremated the day after he died? And since when do they cremate someone the day after death without an autopsy? There was an autopsy - you can see the pictures from the link on the Pictures page.

Tupac's alias is Makaveli. Though the spelling is slightly different, Machiavelli was a 16th century italian philosopher who advocated the staging of one's death in order to evade one's enemies and gain power. Just because Tupac liked the man's ideas, doesn't mean that he would use them. Also, this is another thing that would make people think there was a conspiracy... more money for Death Row.

Part of the title of the Makaveli album is The 7 Day Theory. Tupac was shot on September 7th; and survived on the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and"died" the 13th. As well as this, Tupac's album All Eyez on Me was released on Feb.13, 1996. Tupac "died" on Sept.13,1996. It's quite a coincedence that the dates are exactly seven months apart. Also, tupac was 25 (2+5=7) , and he 'died' at 4:03p.m.(4+3=7). Hence the title The 7 Day Theory. If people look hard enough it's easy to find any number they are looking for - this probably means nothing.

The executive producer of The Makaveli album, as listed on the back of the CD, is Simon (a previously unknown producer in the rap music industry). In the bible, Simon was an apostle of Jesus, and one of the first witnesses of Jesus' Resurrection. Maybe Suge Knight added this to the album - he knew there would be people that would see this as more 'evidence' that Tupac is alive.

On Richie Rich's album Seasoned Veteran (which was released on the same day as The 7 Day Theory) in the song "Niggas Done Changed" Tupac raps the following lyrics: "I've been shot and murdered, can't tell you how it happened word for word / but best believe that nigga's gonna get what they deserve." This phrase implies that Tupac knew that he would be dead when Richie Rich's album was released. Like I said before, Tupac rapped a lot about being killed, so this probably means nothing.

A police communication supervisor who identified herself as herself as Mrs. Coleman said: "The rapper will survive." Why did she make that statement? You don't go out and say something like that, if it isn't blatant that Tupac is going to survive! His condition was stable at that time, otherwise Tupac couldn't have survived for seven days in the hospital. Later that week his condition turned critical again, and you know how it ended.

Las Vegas is in the middle of the desert...How come there was no helicopter chase? If someone was to rob a casino the LVPD would have chased him down with a helicopter. Why wasn't this the case at Tupac's shooting? The Police could have been paid off, or maybe there was so much confusion that the cops didn't have a chance to sort out a helicopter chase.

The car that the 'murderers' were using was not found. How can this be when Las Vegas is in the middle of the desert? Once again, the Police could have been paid off. Of course, the owners could dump the car, have its colour changed, hide it anywhere else in the world - how the hell would it be found then?

There is a small black community on the north side of Las Vegas. This strip is only eight blocks long. The attackers were black. Where did they go - where did they hide? They didn't have to go there - they could have gone anywhere!

On the cover of The 7 Day Theory, there is a picture of Tupac being crucified. This fits with the idea that Tupac "died" so he could be reincarnated as Makaveli. Apparently, that cover was supposed to be the cover of Me Against The World, but they saved it for another album instead.

The only witness to the shooting was found shot to death in a hallway of an apartment building in East Orange, NJ. So obviously he can't trstify now. He was also a gangsta, so it could have been a gang related killing. Sources close to him have stated they do not think his death had anything to do with Tupac's - it was just random.

In the video "Hail Mary" released under the name Makaveli, there is a gravestone that says Makaveli. But the gravestone is cracked and there is a hole right in front of it, inferring that Makaveli rose from the dead. This could just be another one of those things put in the videos to get more people thinking of conspiracy theories.

In E-40's album Hall Of Game in the song "Million Dollar Spot" which is a duet with Tupac, Tupac says, "Fans can't understand my ghetto slang, so I evade and plot and plan a life of better things." Once again Tupac mentions his "plan". These are more of those lyrics where Tupac raps about subjects which make people wonder if he faked his death - he always talks about resurrection and death.

In Tupac's song "Ain't Hard 2 Find" on the album All Eyes On Me, he says "I heard rumors I died, murdered in cold blood, dramatized pictures of me in my final states, you know momma cryed, but that was fiction, some coward got the story twisted." It seems as if Tupac foretold the future. It's not exactly accurate; it's obvious that if someone is murdered, their mother would cry. He could have just been guessing, once again rapping about dying.

Scarface's song "Smile", which is a duet with Tupac, was supposedly recorded in September of '96, before Tupac was "shot". But the video for the song was released in May of '97 and the video depicts Tupac rapping while he appears to be crucified. At the end of the video, Tupac falls off the cross and stands up, which is another image of resurrection and Jesus Christ (Makaveli). Towards the end of the video, it can be seen that Tupac is actually portrayed by a lookalike. If Tupac is dead, why are they making us suspicious? To increase record sales and make more money, of course!

In the video for "I Wonder if Heaven Got a Ghetto" the town it takes place in is called Rukahs. "Rukahs" spelled backwards is "Shakur". The room he goes into with the girl is room number 7. The clock in the background at the end is at 4:03 - the same time he officially died. More funny stuff from the video producers. This could be some type of memorial for Tupac, as the words and time could be remembering his death.

According to Neal, on the song "Thug Luv" which is a duet with Tupac on Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's double CD Art Of War after Tupac says "whuz poppin' n*gga", Bizzy Bone can be heard saying "He's Alive He's Alive He's Alive" in the background. They could be talking about the song story, or maybe just trying to inspire more conspiracies.

There is a 'new' artist called "Blac Haze". The only song that I have heard from them so far is called "Let Me Holla At Cha". The rapper sounds a lot like Tupac. He might be trying to emulate Tupac's style, a lot of people have similar voices.

The memorial services that were open to the public were both cancelled in Los Angeles and Atlanta. Maybe they didn't have enough space for all of Tupac's fans.

In the video "To Live And Die in L.A." 2Pac is wearing the new Michael Jordan shoes. Thats fine, except that 2Pac died before the shoes were sold. There was no way anyone could get the shoes before the day they were sold- it was impossible to get them, many people wanted them, but couldn't get them. Kinda makes you think, eh?

Tupac was recently sighted at a 7-Eleven sippin on a slurpee. (Date unspecified).

In the new Greatest Hits album, there is a song called God Bless The Dead. The lyrics say "Rest in peace to my nigga Biggie smalls." Notorious B.I.G.was killed March 9, 1997.-SIX MONTHS AFTER TUPAC DIED!

Makaveli spells out "Make Alive" when rearanged!
