1980s:
The 80s were a very diverse decade for cars. Some cars went all to hell, and some regained some power from their earlier days and were again the rulers of the road.
The 80s produced the bigger and longer cars with engines that were the most powerful engines in a decade. Such cars were the Monte Carlos, Camaros, Firebird Trans Am, and a few other cars. These cars engines were rebounding from the 70s low amount of horse power and overal performance, and were rebounding quite well. The 80s also produced some of the worst cars ever in my opinion. Many of which were square and way too small with very weak engines. These cars I won't even take time to name or even to think about.
The cars from the 80s are the cars that have transformed into the cars today. Only today they are much better, well...at least most of them. I think the Monte Carlos, Cutlasses, and Regals from the 80s are much better than any of their '90s makes.
I could go on and on about the cars from the 80s, mostly because they were so diverse and because I love cars so much, but I think I'll end by saying the cars from the 80s were all very unique, and nobody will forget them.
