The 1970 Buick GS is your standard Muscle Car. Big in power, big in engine, just plain big and powerful. This beautiful piece of machinery has a V8 engine, 7.456 Liter/455 cubic inch engine, and could push around 360 horse power. This car was reported to run mid 13 quarter miles at 105 mph, and is in the Top 5 of the fastest muscle cars ever built. So this car was definetely a beast.
The GS-455 replaced the GS-400 after GM lifted the maximum of 400ci on its intermediate cars. With over 350bhp on the tap this is one of the fastest muscle cars ever built.

My Thoughts:
This car first caught my eye while I was going to the park one day and saw it in a lot close to my house. I loved this car instantly and if I had a job, guaranteed I would have bought it. I have grown to love this car more and more by the day ever since I started looking information up on it. I learned that it had a 455 and I almost splurged in my pants when I read that. I also learned that this is one of the fastest muscle cars ever built. This is probably one of my more favorite cars now, and will probably move up in my list of favorite cars of the 1970s and all-time also.
This car was being sold for 6000.00 dollars and I swear, if I would have had a job, I would have bought that no matter what. The monthly payments wouldnt have been that bad, all I'd have to worry about is insurance, it would have been outrageous. I know though, as soon as I do get a job, I'm going back to that lot and asking what happened to it, because if they still have access to it, I'm all over that.
